BEARD QUESTION?

I have had dragons in the past but I just got back into them a couple months ago. I have a 5 month old male, hes 13in and 66g. My question is I noticed today that part of his beard is turning black. Is this normal for this early of an age? I mean he is doing fine eating and everything, good fecals. I"ve just never seen part of a black beard. The male I had before had a blak as black can be beard, and it was always his entire beard, not just part of it. I was just curious what you guys think?
