The animals you see advertised as leucistic are really hypomelanistic which is a recessive trait. They are not more sensitive to light and their care is the same as any other dragon. The only difference may be when breeding because some hypomelanistic males don't get a black beard (usually a light gray color instead of a deep black) and the female does not always recognize him as a dominant male and will not be receptive to mating efforts.
