There is an easy explanation to your question...I will use your numbers, here goes...

to purchase (these are rough estimates):
1 pastel male 5 spider females = $76,000

1 Spider male 5 Pastel females = $27,500

If you breed either one of these 2 groups you will get the same out come in babies... Most people who have female pastels are saving them for projects like the BUMBLE BEE BALL... I know I am...
