Biginner Questions...

I just got an Albino Corn snake, and he is very active, he isn't very long, probably about a foot. I'm not having any problems what so ever (just set up the tank today... he is getting used to his new viv)... anyway, I just want to know if i'm doing everything right.



The tank is a 10 gallon standard tank.. I have a 33 and a 125 once he gets older (probably wont need the 125).. I have repti-bark as the substrate (I know it's bad for geckos, but it shouldn't be bad for the snake right? it's not ceder.. it's fir) I have a large water dish that takes up like a 3rd of the tank. a large plastic plant/vine that is kinda bunched up that he loves climbing in, and a nice cave. I don't have a reading for the temps yet but I have a 50 watt basking bulb.. a uth and a 40w blue bulb for nightime. I will post pics of my new guy shortly! (he is VERY pretty :P)
