I have two thermometers, one on each side, they are about 2" above the ground. The temp is good (about 85-90) and the other cooler side is about five degrees less. I was just wondering how to measure the substrate temp. Im using astroturf on the cooler side and calcuim carbonate reptile substrate on the warmer side with the heat lamp. Im also having trouble keeping the humidity up, are there any tricks that have worked for you?? (i already have a large water dish in there)

Thanks for the help!!
