I just acquired a rescue bp and he has a few spots of shed stuck to him. I have soaked him down and put him in a nice warm humid enclosure. My question is what kinds of problems can a partial shed cause if not treated? Would it just come off on the next shed or would it eventually fall off my itself?

I am kinda worried about his eye, it has a retained cap and I am not sure what to do about that, I'm hoping the soaking will help it.I dont like the idea of taking it off with tweezers couldnt I damage his eye this way? should I use a q-tip instead? Other then that he is very friendly and curious for a ball and seems well fed.

Thanx
