My BPs first shed was a little shoddy and I had to help it. The first suggestion I followed was to take a clean bucket and ball up peices of paper. Moisten the paper and leave a layer of water on the bottom. That didn't work for me but it might for you.
The next thing I tried was to take a soaked cotton ball and get the shedded skin off manually. It was up in the eye and he's skiddish so I did a light touch at his neck and traced the ball up to his head. When I got there I just used the cotton ball to brush it off lightly. Worked like a charm. Hope this helps!
