You are right, in addition to the 100 eggs incubating Lil' Darla laid 10 more on the 5th and Cedar laid 13 more on the 7th. Bleu has been digging, no destroying the whole viv for the last 2 days. It appears she wants to tunnel under something but hasn't found that "just perfect" thing. She tried to tunnel under the food bowl from both sides, needless to say, that didn't work! I'm hoping she discovers some of the larger branches or something before she bursts!



I had figured that my gals were all done when the last 2 clutches turned up. I must be slipping!



As for the eggs in the incubator, there are 3 clutches that should pip any day now. I am accustomed to them pipping at 155 to 170 days. I incubated a bit cooler this time and the 3 clutches that are due are at 178, 172, and 171 days. In the two oldest clutches the eggs are huge. When I candle them I occasionally see movement which is encouraging. I will say that I am getting a bit anxious. The 3rd clutch is my first F2 clutch to go to term. The eggs are considerably smaller than the other two clutches so I am not quite as anxious with them. Just watch, they'll be the first to pip!



You know, it doesn't matter how many clutches you take to term or how many babies you raise. Every time a clutch gets close to term I get anxious and impatient. I just can't wait until every one of them has pipped and I see those babies eat!



So, you are right that at 2 months your eggs could still turn. But, I wouldn't toss them until there is no doubt as to their viability. I have had some eggs get pretty gross before I would give up on them.



Just don't give up. You have gotten breeding and egg-laying. The rest is bound to happen!
