Misting

add a second water dish on warm side on top of uth

cover top with: duct tape, pegboard or saran wrap (leave opening for lights and a little ventilation, etc)

cover top with damp towel

add a Tropic-Aire Humidifier w/ air pump (use air pump rated for a larger tank than what you have)

The best and easiest solution is to add a humid hide (plastic dish with access hole cut in lid and fill with damp spaghum moss)- if your snake will use it then you don't have to worry about the humidity in the rest of the tank.
