Constipation?

Need help. These guys crap out a white portion and a brown portion. Does there digestive system split what the're going to discard from 2 separate organs? The reason I'm asking is I haven't seen mine crap out brown in awhile, only white. I've used ratlax once but I wasn't sure if it worked. I saw a more brown than usual stain in the substrate, maybe diaharrea but he hasn't pooped brown in about a month, only white!
