Bad Move.
I have used it in the past & I myself have wet it, but I give a very light mist with a spray bottle just enough to change the color on the top of the substrate & a nice big water bowl so the snakes can bathe if they choose to. coconut bark has dust that when i wet it too much would clump & get all nasty at the bottom of the tub & make cleaning soo much harder. Put a towel over half of the screen top to keep moisture. you can also put a waterbowl right under the heat lamp but be sure to change the water daily because the bacteria could get more serious in higher heat. also soaking the snake for an hour or two once a week is a good thing. i agree with robyn @ pro exotics in saying that it helps promote good sheds, proper hydration, & nice skin.
