As far as natural intergrades I doubt it. I think (but I could be wrong) that thier respective ranges are mutually exclusive.



Yes! I too have seen some 'salvinii' with white and black flecked heads, marbled heads, etc. And all of these were captive bred. But I haven't seen imports like that so that makes me suspicious. Even if they were captive mixes, they would still make neat pets. The one tripocatus I had years ago was a fantastic animal and very responsive. I raised him from a new hatchling to about 8 inches before he went to a friend. Absolutely beautiful too.
