Blue tegus do not need fruit in their diet . Most of my adults won't touch fruit ...every now and then one will see a red or black and white eat it and decide they want to try it but most just spit it back out .



You can raise a blue tegu on 100% rodent diet and they will be fine . Babies will however grow much faster if they are fed crickets instaed of pinkies.
