Posted by: HerpHelmz at Thu Mar 25 15:40:34 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by HerpHelmz ] These snakes were caught 15 minutes from Exeter, California. They look to be Regal Ringnecks but nobody is sure that's what they are. There are 7 sub-species of ringneck in Cali, the Monterey, San Diego, Regal, Pacific, NorthWestern, Coral-Bellied and the San Bernardino Ringneck all make their home in California. However, these snakes were caught nowhere near San Bernardino, Monterey or San Diego, that already eliminates 3 possible sub-species, and the snakes don't have a coral colored belly which gets rid of the Coral-Bellied sub-species. Does ANYONE know what they are?? | ||
