Posted by: ericchen at Sun Mar 28 01:47:49 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by ericchen ] well..today...my hog was extremely active...and it would keep trying to crawl vertically toward the screen of my 10 gallon tank...but eventually she would flop over and land on the ground again...and continue and continue and continue until i couldn't bare to watch her flop and flop...agility is definitely not present in the hognose gene...then she got smarter...she would try to tackle the driftwood...and start from there...so shes climbing and climbing...until flop...shes back on the ground again...its pretty funny...these snakes got some character...but once i put her in her feeding box...shes a whole different snake...once shes in there...ur hands gotta be outta there..."shes goes for the pinky like its going outta fashion"...*steve erwin saying*...after she was done i would expect her to settle down on the warm side..instead she goes to the cool side and does her flopping act for about 20 minutes...didn't anyone tell her its not healthy to exercise 2 hours prior to eating?...oh...i had a question...about when would my hog start going off feed in the winter..like what age...2?..3?..and how i would go about it...should i still offer food...or do i forget about it...until jan/feb....do i lower the temps right when she stops eating?... | ||
