"An adult corn will be comfortable in a 20 gal. They can live up to 20 years with proper care (12-15 is average) and their length is something like 3 feet I am not absolutely sure..."
I would go with a 30 gallon long or breeder tank as a minimum, and i have yet to have a fully matured corn that stays under 4 feet or five for that matter. when i had hercules he was right over the 6 foot mark and his girly athena was about 6 inches shy of that. they are robust hardy and awesom snakes, they put up with a lot of mistakes by there owners and once tame i really dont think they will ever bite you.
good luck ----- The next time the shuttle lands, lets all get dressed up in ape suits and charge at the astronaughts yelling and ranting. That way they can try to figure out where they took a wrong turn.
