I gotta say I have never had a corn stay under 4 ft so I think average is bigger. But who knows. Any I have had over 3 yrs are 5 ft plus. I wouldn't, with that size, go with a 20long. Personally I put a snake in an enclosure big enough that they are stretched out totally using two sides....meaning length plus width equals at least the length of the snake. Corns are active enough that they should have the room. They live 20yrs or so. ----- Sonya
