These cages are ugly, but work very well. They house Jackson's Chameleons. I built them around the size of a "kitty Litter" tray, to catch all the water and mess. They are 36" tall, 16" wide, 16" deep, approx. They were made from 2 x 2's and I used 1/4" hardware cloth, and have had no problems with it.
I wouldn't be able to live without a big cage door and tray underneath. They make the upkeep much easier.
