RE: fake rock background

I was actually thinking of using natural slate tile on the bottom of my corn's tank, like I do for my gecko. Although as they crawl around on their bellies, I didn't try it. It makes sense that they encounter that stuff in the wild. Not sure if it's the best for them to be on it 24/7 mind you?



The only reason I'm staying on paper towels is to avoid accidental ingestion of the substrate (I like to feed in the tank) and obviously the slate would be safe that way as well.
