Snakes go blue and then clear up again before they shed. With mine it's usually about 5 to 7 days between blue and actually shedding. They usually hide out before they shed so everything sounds normal. You can try offering food but don't be surprised if your little guy won't eat. Some snakes go off food during shedding but some don't. If he won't eat try again the day after he sheds. Mostly likely he'll eat then. They can go a few weeks without feeding before you really need to start worrying. Keep us updated but everything sounds normal so far.
