Posted by: lindive at Thu Jun 12 21:07:27 2003 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by lindive ] We just purchased our son a turtle. The pet shop told us it is a slider. But it is not a red-ear slider, there is no red on "Greg" at all. Greg's shell is about 6 inches long, a greenish gray in color. His head has a vertical yellow stripe running from the back of his neck to the beak, and a yellow band that curves to almost a "V" shape that almost meets the vertical stripe. The yellow is outlined in black. He is very docile. He has large webbed feet with very long soft claws. Is there a yellow-eared slider? Any help we can get would be greatly appreciated.
