Are you talking about "Thinset" when you're refering to tile adhesive. Tile is often set into thinset as its adhesive. If that's what you mean, I would recommend thinset for making fake rocks. It has an adhesive additive in it already. I have used it and it works well for rocks. I've also added "Fix-All" to it in order to add strength, and shorten the drying time.



Here's some rocks I built with that combo, and then painted and sealed with resin.
