I'm very selective about who I buy my snakes from. I'm currently searching for breeders in my area with any hogs available. There were 2 at the show last weekend, but the guy couldn't seem to tell me much about them (how long he'd had them, about how old, what they were eating, etc). It was like someone just stuck him at a table and said 'here sell this stuff' - not the first person like this I've met at a show. All my sand boas (and any future ball pythons and rosy boas) came from the same breeder - he's great. My Ball Python (first snake) came from a petstore, and my Mexican Black Kingsnake was from a breeder at a show that I talked to for awhile and felt very comfortable with - I almost do a mini interview like session to get a feel for the breeders. I'm buying a corn from my vet, but am still trying to find someone I feel good about buying a hog from. I'm excited about getting one, but I'll wait as long as I have to in order to find one. ----- Check Out My Albums
