well..ive had my share of blech experiences with breeders at shows..no offense to the great and responsible breeders out there...but some breeders there seriously go to herp shows to sell defective animals...wait..that sounds like a object...umm...problematic animals for cheap....i got a pair of high yellow jungle leopards from a guy at a show for 60 bux...*not gonna mention names*...and turns out although when i bought them...the tails were nice and fat and looked like good animals...i had them checked out...and 2/3 of the leopards had internal parasites...if the price is too good to be true..it probably is...however,they are back to good health though....from the stuff i read...which i totally agree..is that a reputable hog breeder HAS TO SHOW U THAT IT FEEDS WELL ON F/T MICE....its a must..especially hogs becausehogs are prone to have feeding problems...no matter how fat it looks...make sure u see it for urself...and even if the snake was just fed like 3 days ago...it will happily take another..and the breeder/store/vendor shouldn't have a problem with proving that....if they have a strict feeding policy then just go there at feeding time...most people recommend just seeing it once...but i personally didn't want to take a chance so i watched it eat in two feedings...a two week waiting period...then i was satisfied and bought the snake...im sure once is enough...but seeing that u are so meticulous in choosing ur snake source....haha u'll prob do the same...but heck it was a long wait...two weeks...my hands were itching to get the snake the first day i saw it...but it was days well waited for ...
