First,I have to ask,tell me you didnt let a non-native(or locale for that matter)go in your backyard......That said,males have homeranges of several acres but females are much more sedentary,spending far more time underground.If you dont have many predators,a decent food supply and some good weather I would not bet against you finding it.Jeff
