I almost lost Amaretta tonight

She went into spasms Then gasped for air and went limp eyes rolled up into her head She looked dead

I went into hystarics and refused to give her to my mom who was gonna put her in the fridge so I could bring her for a necropsy tomorrow I started tapping her back and chest, she wasn't breathing So I started breathing into her nose and shaking her up and down to loosen whatever was in her chest. She would gasp and then stop for a few minutes. I finally turned her over to my mom and when She went to put her in the bag, She gasped again! So Mom started breathing into her Nose! It took us (Mom and Me) 45 minutes before she started taking gasps on her own and Then we left her be for an hour

We put her under a heat lamp in a small plastic shoe box Well, I went to check on her and She was trying to get out of the box and looked at me like "It's hot in here" So Now I have a Heat Emiter on her for the night If She makes it, She goes To the vet first thing in the morning She was dead. But She fought to come back I'm hoping she makes it through the night

We shook a LOT of gunk out of her chest when we were trying to get her breathing

She's the one who went to the vet last monday cause of the gasping noise she was making And the vet couldn't find anything wrong with her. Looks like She had Upper Respitory Infection. He BETTER find that out tomorrow and put her on something. She's too sweet to ever replace. Not to mention too beautiful....
