Sean, Most of my eggs hatch after more than 70 days of incubation, so if you are at 55 days and the eggs still appear healthy (not yellow or dessicated) I think they will be all right. Even if the eggs don't look so good I would still let them incubate. I have had eggs that looked really nasty and I had given up on them only to be surprised by a healthy hatchling. -Derek
