i keep mine nest to my bed and the noise is not an issue. they are very quite, but once in a while they make some noise but it is ok. as for my pinktoe's, i just took them back to the pet store tosay. some of my animals or reps stay at my work(preschool) and i teach the kids about them but my bose didn't like the idea of keeping tarantulas or a scorpion in the science center so i had to get rid of them. sucks
