Confused about behavior

I have two dragons, an almost 3 year old male and an almost 1 year old female. Recently my female has been getting a black beard and bobbing his head at the male and the male has been waving to her. (They are in seperate cages, about 4 ft away from each other, but they can still see each other.) I thought it was supposed to be the other way around!



Anyone have any ideas about what they are thinking?
