Veild breeding question???

I already read the breeding page in the FAQ on this site, but unless I missed it I didn't see anything about "seasoning" them. Mine are about 1 year old. I recently put them together and watched for signs of agression...Nothing. Ok so I let them be for a couple days. The female still isn't looking any different...still light green. I never really see them together either. Is there a way I can stimulate them? Does the female always change colors after mating? Thanks.
