My experience with this would tell me she is really close to laying!! My female Candy did this for two days and laid. I know your female tends to lay early as she did her first clutch last time right? How many days is she into this one? My female showed odd behavior for only 2 days scratching in her cage, and when I took her out she was running the floors too. The third day at 21 days into being gravid I put her in the bin and she laid. The second clutch she laid exactly 31 days later and showed minimum signs except for digging in the corner of her cage and she laid her second clutch. Which leads me and other experienced breeders I've talked to to think she already was starting her cycle and had eggs starting already when she mated the first time causing the early laying. just a thought. I would set her bin up and see what she does if she is as restless as you describe she might have been into her cycle when bred and will lay early again. Both times Candy laid, her symptoms were very subtle. Not eating much and looking a little restless in her cage digging in the corners and she laid when I put her in her laying bin within an hour.
