Mine seem to be potty trained pretty well. Every day I put their veggies in the cage and they go take a dump in it. I noticed something when I kept snakes. They liked to go into something that was depressed. For example I used to use Large dog bowls for water and they would crawl over the bowl so their tail and vent was in the bowl and go into it. I wonder if that has something to do with why my dragons like to go in their bowls so much. Maybe try putting a small bowl in the cage with a paper towel in it. Might be worth a shot.
