The bad news is that the picture is inconclusive. It could easily be any of three different species of Nerodia (sipedon, fasciata or erythogaster. At this point it is best to check the range maps against the possibilities. I am inclined to doubt that it is erythrogaster based on the belly color and the way the bands extend down the sides....more later.
