He went in to the vet yesterday, and so did Domo since he was starting to have the same runny, stinky poo symptoms as Ocho.

Apparently Ocho's intestinal parasites are gone and Domo never had any to begin with, but they still both have diarrhea. The vet said now we have to look at thier diets. I feed them both freshly washed greens, squash, rep-cal pellets, and mango. Domo also gets lots of crickets since he's a growing guy, but Ocho only gets prey items occasionally as a treat, he's mostly just on salads. Anyways, the vet said to cut out the mango and try to feed them dry greens instead of wet, that they may be getting too much moisture. He also said to increase the insects in Ocho's diet and switch back to the old suppliments. I thought I was helping them by giving them more moisture in their foods since they don't drink water out of a dish. I thought the more veggies and less crickets the better for adults. I mean lots of people feed their lizards only salad and they do great. Is it really possible to get diarrhea from too many veggies and fruits and not enough prey? I've been taking all of my pets to this vet for years, and I have the utmost faith in his knowledge about reptiles, but some of this information seems to conflict with other things I've heard and now I don't know what's right. Obviously I'm doing something wrong so I have no choice but to try changing the diet like he says and hope that works.

Also, for the past week Ocho has had two patches of unshed skin show up, one on his hind leg and one on his tail. I could have sworn all his shed came off a month ago, but these two spots came out of nowhere! The vet said that unshed skin could be signs of other problems, and to let him know if they don't come off. I've been soaking him and trying to get them to sluff off, but they won't. Now I'm worried about that.

For the first time in 2 months Ocho's been dismissed from the vet without requiring a recheck. I should feel like this is good and he's better now, but I don't. Maybe I'm too over-protective and making a big deal out of nothing, but I can't help it. I love my babies and want to do everything right, but I feel like I'm still making mistakes and I don't know what they are.
