Small Female

I have a beautiful hypo-snow 2 year old female that is about 15in long, but I have no idea how much she weighs. I was just wondering the risks of breeding such a small female. We were planning on it and bought her a red/yellow boyfriend, but then when I started to look into it I noticed that most female breeders were much larger than her. I have heard of egg-binding, is that caused by the size of the females? What else could go wrong? I don't want to put her at risk.
