PLEASE HELP!!

Hi, I have a young milksnake that has been in my possession for about 2 months and has never eaten. Tonight I was attempting once again to feed her and I put a lid on the top of the feeding cage. I walked away for a few minutes and when I came back SHE WAS GONE! Is there any way to lure her back out into the open? We have floor ventilation systems in this house but at the moment they are blowing cold air. Any and all suggestions needed and appreciated!
