Also Would potting soil be suitable to substitute perlite/vermaculite? I was thinking of making a top for it out of (plexi?)glass and wood so I can see and keep up humidity. Can you recommend a good thermometer/hydrometer combo, I know the zoo-med is crap, maybe some digital ones. I also need to know what is the BEST thermostat? I need this for incubators and racks, so I want the best, maybe even with night drop. [ Hide Replies ]
