I love them. I have 4 in use as we speak. Reptiledirect.com has them for a very reasonable price. The 160 watt is around 37.95. You need a fixture with a ceramic socket. You can find those at reptiledirect also. Get the larger 10 1/2 dome. How large is your cage? My cages are 5'x 28". I use the 160 watt and raise the basking site until I have the desired temperature.

I think you should try them. Keep your reciept because they do have a warranty. Good luck.
