Hey everyone,



I picked up a MHD from a guy locally cutting down his collection. It had never been to the vet and was a poor eater when I got it. I figured parasites were the culprit, espeically since the belly was large. I got it two rounds of flagyl/panacur (I think... have to double check) and the belly went down and food consumption went through the roof! Success.



A month later, the belly got big again and feeding stopped. I thought I was on the verge of losing this guy. Came home yesterday to find "wilson" laying eggs on the indoor carpeting. I had no idea what sex it even was, let alone that it was gravid. heh. I didn't have a nesting box. The possibility of it being gravid didn't even cross my mind.



So, she was VERY aggressive yesterday. She knocked her eggs all over the place with her tail. do'h. I managed to scoop her up with little egg trauma. I placed her into a bin with dirt, but she was all done. Eggs got placed into a perilite container since I don't have access to vermiculite. Lid was placed on and it is being kept at 72f.



I don't know if the eggs are even any good or if they've suffered too much trauma being rolled around. Any suggestions on increasing my odds for hatching?
