Posted by: mongoose5971 at Sun Apr 18 11:13:39 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by mongoose5971 ] i have noticed that all the sliders found in the creeks near my house are almostly completely black in color. i read once in a book that red-ears sometimes turn black upon maturing so that is my first guess. i was wondering if anyone else has heard of this and what could it mean? they seem to resemble red ears in other mannerisms and appearance. i'm posting a picture of one of mine to illustrate. you can see faint stripes on the underside on the neck but almost everywhere else is completely black. | ||
