Is my ball just a huge WOOS?

ok now im getting a little worried. Its been a week and a half since my ball has eaten. He is a yearling. On friday i bought a jumbo mouse, no luck. Prob struck 15 times and only tried to wrap twice. Then just gave up. So i bought a regular adult mouse last night and put 2 in at the same time. This time he didnt do anything at. The little mouse would even come up stick his head right in the pythons face and my ball would just back off like he was scared. I dont understand it, am i doing somthing wrong? I try not to feed him in his home because there are too many places the mouse will hide and i dont want him to think whenever i reach in its food. The last time he ate was in his home so i tried that too yesterday, not one result, any help is needed thanks
