Hi Scott –

This is one of those “Who knows?” animals. Someone bought her as an adult at a pet shop in 1991, kept her for almost a year but couldn’t get her to eat. She was 1.75 kg when he gave her to a friend who quickly got her feeding and passed her on to me. The animal was such an eager feeder that I recall her feeding every month of the year for some years. I didn’t put any effort into cycling her, so wasn’t surprised that she rarely produced eggs. Aside from the 14 egg clutch this week, she’s produced 2 clutches of 11 eggs each. When she hit 5.27 kg last November, I figured I ought to get serious about having her put some of those fat stores to better use! She’s ~64 inches long, good-sized but certainly no record.

>> That is a remarkable clutch. What's the history on this female, ie her current age, age when she first produced, anything else of interest. Congrats! P.S. You know I've got a few males, But they're MORPHS, that could hook-up very nicely with her down the road....!! SJM
