The yahoo clemmys group had a discussion about a condition they called "stiff leg syndrome" a few months back. One of the members, who keeps wood turtles, said that whenever he introduces a new animal to his group, it comes down with a similar condition and then gradually gets better. Really strange... Just visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Clemmys/, join if you have to, and click "Feb." (below the archive search bar).
