I was on hank molt's site and he described it as being a new species. That's why I asked, I thought it looked peachie, but I have never seen a peachthroat with that patterning or coloration.
On a side note, I have heard that there are two newly discovered indo monitors, awaiting to be named. One of them is another prasinus type tree monitor, which is described as being a mixture of a boehmei and macraei, with orange brilliant orange coloration on the neck(?). I was talking with jimmy down at d&j about his trip to indo to see his brother, and he told me that one of the two new monitors may be labeled as V. gormani, after his bro. Jim said that the other is a doreanus-type monitor.I believe that a specimen was sent to germany to Boehme, to be analized and studied. There are thousands of indonesian islands out there, who knows what they'll find next? take care everybody,
