Good Herping Roads Northern Florida???

Im looking for some good roads in the Gainesville Fl area. Im especially looking for canebrakes and EDBs. Ive never seen either species in the wild and I heard they tend to run around now in the early morning. Ive heard a few names thrown around like Gilchrist county and Ocala Natl. Forest. I dont know really where either of those are so if anyone has any suggestions let me know.
