The juveniles you have pictured look like pictiventris. I haven't seen many adults of that ssp. so I'm not entirely familiar with their typical adult coloration. However, this picture looks exactly like the fasciata fasciata I catch in the panhandle of FL. They are very dark with orange or reddish lateral highlights. I would go solely on ventral pattern for ssp. designation to be safe though.
