Most of us don't keep real regular tabs on the forum. It can take a day or two to get answers.
On the boas, most of us keep our animals separate and only put them together to breed. It makes record keeping easier, reduces the likelihood of parasites or disease transfer, prevents unplanned breedings, and I believe is less stressful on the animal because it doesn't have to compete for the prime basking or hiding spot. An animal that is intimidated will choose less than ideal conditions rather than confront a cagemate or jostle for prime location. This is especially true if one animal is considerably larger or more agressive than the other.
