RE: boa vs. burm dispositions

My opinion is that a common boa is a much better pet than a Burm. Both the size and temperament of a common boa is easier to deal with.
The question I've always looked for an answer to is "Why would anyone want a 'pet' snake that gets 20 feet"??? I'll never be able to answer this, so if you can, I'd be interested in hearing it.
