Smelly Cage!

Is there any way to keep a boa cage from getting smelly or to get the smell out? I clean the cage regularly, I have repti bark in it right now. But once they go to the bathroom a couple times the cage starts to smell again. Is there any way to make the cage not smell so bad without hurting the snakes? Oh I have the top pretty covered so it keeps the heat in the cage too and I don't want to change that because it's easier to keep the cage warm.
