If your cage still stinks after cleaning it, then you are not cleaning it well enough. A strong smell is a sign of bacteria still lingering in the substrate. This is not good for your boa, or for you for that matter because it could be salmonella.



I completely change my substrate once a month, like clockwork. Sounds like you should too...
